This utility-model steel pipe inner wall shot blasting machine relates to equipment for strengthening shot blasting of steel pipe i
Applications
Through sandblasting cleaning operations, the equipment provides multiple functions that support subsequent processes and enhance product quality:
Surface cleaning and process compatibility: Effectively removes rust, scale, and other impurities from the inner surface of steel pipes, increasing surface adhesion and restoring the metallic finish. This allows the pipes to be directly prepared for subsequent processing operations such as drawing and expanding.
Performance enhancement: Reduces residual internal stress in the workpieces while improving multiple performance aspects, including adhesion strength for internal lining plastic coatings and internal/external plastic coatings, as well as coating adhesion and fracture resistance during galvanizing.
Service life and quality improvement: Significantly enhances the corrosion resistance of mechanical products and metal profiles, as well as the fatigue resistance of steel, thereby extending service life. At the same time, it optimizes the surface processing condition of metal materials, ultimately improving both the surface quality and intrinsic quality of the workpieces.

The fixed sealing chamber is fabricated by welding steel plates and structural steel sections, providing sufficient strength and rigidity to reliably withstand the impact and pressure generated during the shot-blasting process.
This shot blasting machine is specially designed to meet the specific process requirements of the customer and is dedicated equipment for sandblasting and cleaning the inner walls of steel pipes. It offers clearly defined operating efficiency, capable of cleaning either one pipe or up to eight pipes at a time in a single operation, meeting both batch-processing needs and precision-cleaning requirements.
Key Features:
1. During operation, compressed air energy converges with steel shot within a narrow annular gap and is ejected at a 45-degree angle in a fan-shaped pattern. This process forms a uniformly distributed, high-temperature oxidation-resistant hardened layer along the circumference of the steel pipe's inner wall.
2. Sandblasting simultaneously removes oil, rust, and black paint from the inner surface of the steel pipe. This process strengthens the inner surface, enhances surface adhesion, and exposes a metallic luster after rust removal. It also increases surface area, facilitating subsequent spraying and painting operations.
3.The shape and dimensions of the chamber, as well as the installation position and angle of the shot blaster, are determined through CAD-optimized design and dynamic simulation verification. This design process fully ensures effective cleaning of workpieces while maximizing operational efficiency of the equipment and avoiding waste of resources.
4.Comprehensive Protection Design
Port protection: The shot-impact areas at the steel pipe ports are protected with ZGMn13 plates. ,this material is renowned for its exceptional wear resistance, ensuring long-lasting component durability.
Guard-plate nuts: The fixing nuts for the guard plates are manufactured using ZGMn13 cast-in-place technology, matching the protective plate material to further enhance overall wear resistance and structural stability.
Internal chamber protection:
A grating is installed on the bottom inner surface of the chamber, and a perforated special wear-resistant plate is added above the main shot-impact zone. This effectively prevents shot from damaging the grating, hopper, and lower screw conveyor, significantly extending the service life of these components.
The remaining areas of the chamber are protected with rubber lining, which provides cushioning and protection while being extremely easy to install and remove. This greatly simplifies routine maintenance and replacement, improving overall equipment efficiency.
Benefits:
1. High-rigidity spray rod: The spray rod is made of straight austenitic stainless-steel tubing, which is resistant to plastic deformation along its length. This ensures stable shot-blasting velocity throughout the entire length of the steel pipe, thereby forming a uniformly distributed hardened layer with consistent thickness on the inner wall.
2. Self-centering design: In addition, the spray rod features a flexible structure with a large length-to-diameter ratio, enabling automatic centering of the nozzle relative to the inner wall of the steel pipe and ensuring high precision during sandblasting operations.
3.This shot blasting machine features four core advantages: advanced design, rational structure, reliable operation, and high production efficiency. It integrates stably with the customer’s production process, effectively reducing downtime caused by equipment failures.
The device comprises a nozzle and a spray rod, with the nozzle mounted at the front end of the spray rod. The nozzle consists of an outer tube and a flow-guide core. A larger-diameter head is provided at the front end of the flow-guide core, forming an annular gap between the head and the outer tube, through which a mixed stream of sand, shot, and air is ejected.
